The Madeleine is a beautiful church, with a quite surprising Greek style, that gave its name to this "quarter".

THE OPERA
Address : Place de l'Opera - Metro : Opéra (lines 3, 7, 8)

The sumptuous Opera of Paris has a baroque style, a rococo stair and wonderful ceilings painted by Chagal. We could say that it is most unusual !

The Palais Garnier houses the Opera Museum (Musée de l'Opéra). Sometimes, it is possible to visit the Opéra's backstage...

GREVIN MUSEUM

The Grevin Museum (Musée Grévin) will allow you to meet François Mitterrand (a French President), Alfred Hitchcock, Madonna, Gandhi or, Zinedine Zidane (a French soccer/football player) ! Actually, it houses more than 450 wax figures in sumptuous decors. It could be compared to the museum of Mrs Tussault in Great Britain.
